That Flim Flammin Flemm

On The fabulous Earl Flemm, and the Toylanders. It's a saga. A mortal competition. A 'Tug of War.' of cosmic proportions! Well Ok, here's the story. Earl is a musical genie, and The Toylanders worked for him as his backing band as the original Fuller Bushmen. The formal name of the group was Earl Flemm and the Fullerbrushmen. They toured the world, including Japan where Earl is now an idol among many Japanese. But it didn't start out that way...it was hard hours grafted - playing in Tokyo clubs and sushi bars. At times, the group was so poor, Earl would go door to door selling his songs, most times, being ejected forcibly from the premises. Occasionally Earl would sell a song, and he would attribute his luck to his: “Lucky song selling (argyle) Socks,” which became a source of dispute in 1995 when Earl accused Chris of stealing his argyles at a Queens NY bus station. Earl had a meltdown, and was in an asylum for 10 years, weaving baskets, and buying stocks in Apple computer. In part - the reason Earl spent so long in the Institution was because he would often meander around saying:

What do you think of dem Apples”

Nobody knew what he was talking about, the doctors would look at each other pessimistically and say “It doesn't look good.”

Earl would say “They look pretty good to me.” and Earl acquired more and more stock in apple computer.

He would often say “ An Apple a day keeps The Toylanders at bay!.” The docs would just shake their heads in dismay. The Toylanders is the group that disbanded and reformed as Earl wasted away in the asylum. Gary Stone, the leader of the band would, say “ We left Earl, who is a genie, to find our own frickin genie” And so The Toylanders were born.

One day, while weaving baskets, Earl heard a recording by The Toylanders on the radio. It made him mad. He decided to check himself out. But the doctors said “ What about them apples?”

Earl said “ I don't see any apples, do you?” Earl was cured. He had way more than enough Apples, and signed himself out, determined to reform the “Fuller Brushmen.” which he did do, and waged his war against The Toylanders - whom he blamed for his life of misery.

Earl wrote one song after another, fueled by his fierce competitive spirit. In 2001

Apple Computer went to 18.00 a share, Earl bought tons of Apple's stock and sat on them, now, he's a multimillionaire, as Apple Computer is worth 143.00 per share in a down economy.

Earl uploaded his songs everywhere, especially at Soundclick, and at ITUNES.

The Toylanders using the experience they have garnered from their mentor, have had modest success using their new found genie as their lodestar. And the Battle of the Bands is forever on! Such as is decribed In 2007, The Toylanders challenged Flemm to Rock Armageddon. But Earl found every excuse to avoid the confrontation as described by Kinky Smith, a British Rock News Reporter. And professional groupie. That story is here: Rock Armageddon

But the whole story is at The Toylander's website. The story, as it evolves, is called Flemmisty, Someday it will be a book, and then a movie, and then? Well, Who knows? The story is limited only the ability to imagine and create. The main question of the day is: “Did Earl Flemm shoot Elvis, 'right between the eyes?' “ We Toylanders wouldn't doubt it for a minute.- The man invesitigating that story, believes Flemm shot Elvis..."twernt no cheeseburger what killed Elvis" Says Scot Towers of backdoor investigations. Now Towers is pushin up daisies. Flemm says it was a fair gun fight, and that Towers drew first, but said that about Elvis too.

Much to Earl Flemm's chagrin, the Toylanders song Moody River Roll and Roll made it to the Uk song writing contest semi finals. We got a frickin cetificate from Susan Boye's friend Simon Cowbell.

Oh of note, Chris of the Toylanders has been buying up Dell Computer of late, he walks around saying: "Those Dells are gonna be Apples someday." Nobody seems to pay attention."
